Step onto the balcony at Calablanca Residences on Isla de Barú and the sea opens up in front of you, the shared pool catches the afternoon light below, and white sand is less than five minutes away on foot without ever leaving the complex. Cartagena - the walled city, the color, the history - sits roughly 45 to 60 minutes away by car or boat, close enough for a day trip, far enough that Barú holds its own unhurried rhythm entirely intact.
Living space
The balcony is the natural anchor here - open sea ahead, pool below, and a BBQ grill ready for evenings that deserve to go long. Air conditioning keeps every room comfortable through the heat of the day, and a ceiling fan adds easy airflow when you want it. A TV handles downtime, and a dedicated workspace keeps things straightforward for anyone who needs to stay connected.
Please note there is no smoke alarm or carbon monoxide detector on the property - take this into account before booking.
Sleeping arrangements
The apartment sleeps up to 8 guests across 2 bedrooms and 4 beds. Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 features a double bed alongside 2 pull-out trundle/nest beds - a practical configuration for families or groups travelling with children. Hangers, clothing storage, and bed linens are all provided.
Kitchen and dining
The fully equipped kitchen handles everything from a first coffee of the morning to a full group dinner without fuss. You'll find a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster, along with dishes, silverware, wine glasses, cooking basics, and coffee. A dining table brings the whole group together for shared meals.
Bathroom
All 3 bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and hot water - everything you need to settle in straight away.
Building and extras
Calablanca Residences comes with a strong set of shared amenities: pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and elevator, with 24-hour on-site staff available throughout your stay. The beach is less than 5 minutes away on foot, without needing to leave the complex. Use of the sauna and jacuzzi comes at no additional charge. You only need to make a reservation through your Concierge. Massages have an additional cost and can be requested through your assigned Concierge. A ping pong table and pool table round out the on-site entertainment, and a washer and dryer are available for longer stays. Self check-in keeps arrival flexible, and free parking is available in the on-site garage and on the street. Pets are welcome to join you.

We offer transportation from Cartagena to Calablanca, at an additional cost. Cartagena is reachable in roughly 45 to 60 minutes by car or boat - a worthwhile day trip, though Barú holds more than enough to fill a stay on its own.

RENTAL AGREEMENT - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE:
By simply occupying the property, guests agree to be aware of, comply with, and enforce these rules of use, as well as all the conditions that have been stated in the previously signed reservation and rental contracts; in the same way the prohibitions and rules of use of the condominium related to issues such as, among others, smoking, pets, holding events, age of the tenants, arrival and departure times, etc.
Guests must keep the premises in good condition and clean, and use them only in a careful and legal manner. Guests must pay for repairs and damages in the event that the facilities or their furniture are left in worse condition; HomeBeLike will deduct the costs of such services from the security deposit authorization or credit card hold that may be taken upon arrival.
Guests must behave in a civil manner and respect the rights of surrounding properties. Guests will not create noise or disturbances that may affect surrounding owners. The property must be used for lawful purposes only and never for any other uses, such as but not limited to the use of illegal drugs, abuse of any person, harboring fugitives, etc.
The total number of guests cannot exceed the number identified as maximum occupancy in the property offer. Prior authorization from HomeBeLike must be requested and expected to receive visits to the property.
HomeBeLike, as a commercial entity constituted under the laws of Panama, will not be responsible for damages, losses or physical injuries or of any other nature caused by any fortuitous event, force majeure or strange cause in the property; In the same way, the owner and/or property manager, authorized providers of outsourced services and any intermediary involved in the rent are exempted from liability. Guests hereby delegate competence and jurisdiction to the courts of the Republic of Panama and recognize as applicable the regulations in force in said country in case of any discrepancy or claim due to this agreement or the use of the facilities.
Guests are responsible for the care and security of their items within the properties, HomeBeLike is not responsible for damage or loss of property. Valuable items left behind by guests will be retained and every reasonable effort will be made to contact the guest for their return, HomeBeLike is not responsible for the condition of such items.
The creation of a disturbance or the violation of any of the terms and conditions, will result in the termination of this agreement without refund of rents or deposits. The rental period will end immediately and Guests must vacate the premises immediately.
Guests hereby expressly authorize HomeBeLike to collect their personal data for the purposes of contact, communication and cross-referencing of related information. HomeBeLike will not sell, trade or share the data except with companies in the same business group and only for the stated purposes.
