The Caribbean stretches out in every shade of blue here, waves settling onto the sand just beyond the terrace. Salt air moves through the space, carrying the kind of quiet that comes only from island life. This is Isla Barú at its own pace - a place built for slowing down and watching the day change color.
Calablanca Residences sits within a gated community on Isla Barú, giving you a front-row seat to the Caribbean Sea. Sunrise turns the water gold, and by evening the light softens to coral. The view shifts hour to hour but the calm never does. The beach is less than 5 minutes away on foot, without needing to leave the complex.
Sleeping arrangements
The apartment sleeps 6 guests across 3 bedrooms, with 5 beds total - 2 double beds, 2 single beds, and 1 king size bed - and 3 full bathrooms. Every room comes with bed linens, hangers, room-darkening shades, and a safe, so you can unpack and settle in right away.
Outdoor living
Your private terrace is where mornings and evenings happen - coffee as the island wakes, a drink as the sun drops below the water. From the gated community, it’s a short walk down to calm water and pale sand whenever you’re ready for it.
Community amenities
Beyond the apartment, the community offers a pool, gym, and spa access, including separate spa areas for men and women with showers, a steam room, a sauna, and outdoor jacuzzis. Use of the sauna and jacuzzi comes at no additional charge - you only need to make a reservation through your Concierge. There’s also a game room with a pool table, ping pong, and foosball, plus outdoor showers and beach cabanas for rinsing off after a swim. Massages have an additional cost and can be requested through your assigned Concierge.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking at your own pace, with a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle covering the basics and then some. Eat in at the dining table, or take your plate out to the terrace and let the view do the rest.
Comfort & essentials
Air conditioning and Wi-Fi keep things comfortable at any hour, and a dedicated workspace is on hand if you need to get things done. A washer and iron are available for longer stays, with towels and bathroom essentials throughout.
Location
Beach access sits just outside the gated community, with beach essentials - towels, umbrella, blanket, and snorkeling gear - provided whenever you want to head down. Free parking is available on-site and on the street, and the building includes an elevator for easy access. We offer transportation from Cartagena to Calablanca, at an additional cost.

RENTAL AGREEMENT - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE:
By simply occupying the property, guests agree to be aware of, comply with, and enforce these rules of use, as well as all the conditions that have been stated in the previously signed reservation and rental contracts; in the same way the prohibitions and rules of use of the condominium related to issues such as, among others, smoking, pets, holding events, age of the tenants, arrival and departure times, etc.
Guests must keep the premises in good condition and clean, and use them only in a careful and legal manner. Guests must pay for repairs and damages in the event that the facilities or their furniture are left in worse condition; HomeBeLike will deduct the costs of such services from the security deposit authorization or credit card hold that may be taken upon arrival.
Guests must behave in a civil manner and respect the rights of surrounding properties. Guests will not create noise or disturbances that may affect surrounding owners. The property must be used for lawful purposes only and never for any other uses, such as but not limited to the use of illegal drugs, abuse of any person, harboring fugitives, etc.
The total number of guests cannot exceed the number identified as maximum occupancy in the property offer. Prior authorization from HomeBeLike must be requested and expected to receive visits to the property.
HomeBeLike, as a commercial entity constituted under the laws of Panama, will not be responsible for damages, losses or physical injuries or of any other nature caused by any fortuitous event, force majeure or strange cause in the property; In the same way, the owner and/or property manager, authorized providers of outsourced services and any intermediary involved in the rent are exempted from liability. Guests hereby delegate competence and jurisdiction to the courts of the Republic of Panama and recognize as applicable the regulations in force in said country in case of any discrepancy or claim due to this agreement or the use of the facilities.
Guests are responsible for the care and security of their items within the properties, HomeBeLike is not responsible for damage or loss of property. Valuable items left behind by guests will be retained and every reasonable effort will be made to contact the guest for their return, HomeBeLike is not responsible for the condition of such items.
The creation of a disturbance or the violation of any of the terms and conditions, will result in the termination of this agreement without refund of rents or deposits. The rental period will end immediately and Guests must vacate the premises immediately.
Guests hereby expressly authorize HomeBeLike to collect their personal data for the purposes of contact, communication and cross-referencing of related information. HomeBeLike will not sell, trade or share the data except with companies in the same business group and only for the stated purposes.
