Six floors above the Caribbean, the water stretches out in every direction you look. Step onto the private balcony of this 251 m² oceanfront apartment at Calablanca Residences in Barú, and the sea becomes the backdrop to everything - morning light catching the waves, warm color spreading across the horizon as the day winds down. The beach itself is less than 5 minutes away on foot, without ever needing to leave the complex.
Living space
The main living area is generously proportioned, furnished for comfort, with ceiling fans and central air conditioning keeping things easy throughout the day. Three smart TVs are spread across the apartment, and high-speed Wifi keeps the group connected, with a dedicated workspace available for anyone who needs to log on. The balcony stretches the living space outdoors, set up with outdoor furniture and a dining area for meals with the ocean as company, plus a private jacuzzi for unwinding at any hour.
Sleeping arrangements
Up to 8 guests are accommodated across three bedrooms, a service room, and a small additional living area. The master bedroom features a king bed, and the second bedroom is fitted with a queen bed (third bedroom bed configuration not specified in source - please confirm before publishing). The service room includes a sofa bed, and the additional living area has a desk alongside an individual sofa bed.
Kitchen and dining
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster, with cooking basics, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses all provided. A kitchen island and dining table round out the space for meal prep and sit-down meals alike. An in-unit washer and dryer make longer stays easier to manage.
Bathrooms
Five full bathrooms with showers and one half bathroom are spread across the apartment, each stocked with hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and hot water. Extra pillows, blankets, bed linens, hangers, an iron, and a safe are also on hand, along with beach towels, an umbrella, a beach blanket, and snorkeling gear.
On-site at Calablanca Residences
The pool and hot tub are available on-site, and the gym is equipped with cardio machines, weights, and pilates equipment. Use of the sauna and jacuzzi comes at no additional charge - you only need to make a reservation through your Concierge. A ping pong table and pool table offer options for evenings in, and an elevator services the building. Free parking is available in the on-site garage.
The beach
Calablanca’s beach runs along the coastline, set up with sunbeds, large cushions, and Bali-style cabanas, with beach gear ready to go for a full day at the water. Self check-in gives the group flexibility on arrival timing.
Location
Isla Barú sits along a stretch of Colombia’s coastline, with water sports, yacht charters, snorkeling, and bike tours all accessible nearby. We offer transportation from Cartagena to Calablanca, at an additional cost.

RENTAL AGREEMENT - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE:
By simply occupying the property, guests agree to be aware of, comply with, and enforce these rules of use, as well as all the conditions that have been stated in the previously signed reservation and rental contracts; in the same way the prohibitions and rules of use of the condominium related to issues such as, among others, smoking, pets, holding events, age of the tenants, arrival and departure times, etc.
Guests must keep the premises in good condition and clean, and use them only in a careful and legal manner. Guests must pay for repairs and damages in the event that the facilities or their furniture are left in worse condition; HomeBeLike will deduct the costs of such services from the security deposit authorization or credit card hold that may be taken upon arrival.
Guests must behave in a civil manner and respect the rights of surrounding properties. Guests will not create noise or disturbances that may affect surrounding owners. The property must be used for lawful purposes only and never for any other uses, such as but not limited to the use of illegal drugs, abuse of any person, harboring fugitives, etc.
The total number of guests cannot exceed the number identified as maximum occupancy in the property offer. Prior authorization from HomeBeLike must be requested and expected to receive visits to the property.
HomeBeLike, as a commercial entity constituted under the laws of Panama, will not be responsible for damages, losses or physical injuries or of any other nature caused by any fortuitous event, force majeure or strange cause in the property; In the same way, the owner and/or property manager, authorized providers of outsourced services and any intermediary involved in the rent are exempted from liability. Guests hereby delegate competence and jurisdiction to the courts of the Republic of Panama and recognize as applicable the regulations in force in said country in case of any discrepancy or claim due to this agreement or the use of the facilities.
Guests are responsible for the care and security of their items within the properties, HomeBeLike is not responsible for damage or loss of property. Valuable items left behind by guests will be retained and every reasonable effort will be made to contact the guest for their return, HomeBeLike is not responsible for the condition of such items.
The creation of a disturbance or the violation of any of the terms and conditions, will result in the termination of this agreement without refund of rents or deposits. The rental period will end immediately and Guests must vacate the premises immediately.
Guests hereby expressly authorize HomeBeLike to collect their personal data for the purposes of contact, communication and cross-referencing of related information. HomeBeLike will not sell, trade or share the data except with companies in the same business group and only for the stated purposes.
